I agree but its not all RT.

So do you think RT are a wing of the KGB and are trying to subvert the US as per Yuri Bezmenov lecture on the operation of the KGB. Yuri defected the KGB and gives great insight into how communism currently operates, using subversion.

Also, maybe subversion has been so successful that US could be close to a state of Martial Law from attacks from within.

RT is no more propaganda than any US news channel. Unlike the US channels though it actually looks at US actions critically.

What is going on in America is scary stuff though. People are afraid to critically analyze anything. Their news is total propaganda.

I think they aren't stupid enough to go with a full scale war against their own people and foreign super powers though. These kind of wars always fail. What they are doing at the moment is far more effective. Keep the majority of the population ignorant and covertly operate an imperialist agenda.

We are seeing the beginnings of the transformation from a cold war to a hot war at the nation-state level. We are about to see a trigger event, after which nothing will be the same.

I'd argue that Martial Law is in the U.S already.

Non US citizens are photographed and fingerprinted on the way in. Nobody can travel by air without getting themselves and their belongings pulled apart by federal officers (TSA)

ID cards are compulsory to have on your person at all times. Although this is not the law as such but stop and serch powers given to police over there see them demanding ID and hauling you down the station for not having it.

All police officers are armed and often use their weapons to kill suspects without having to answer for it.

All communications and social media are monitored by FBI/CIA/NSA.

As we saw in Boston, whole cities can be shut down for a couple of days whilst the armed agencies of state take to the street to find somebody.

All males between 18 and 26 can be drafted into the military at the stroke of a pen. (There has been proposals floated in recent years to increase this age to 35 and to include females, and not limit the draft to the military but to all federal agencies)

Many peaceful protests get banned and violently put down by the police.

It might be the plan is to threaten with martial law so they can get away with edging closer to it, without as much friction.
I think of it as psychological haggling with the general public.
Push for more than you want and to settle for something less(which was the original target).
Cause ya know, if its not officially stated on the news or through law, then it couldnt possibly be happening
