looking for info. on past Cheltenham winner

    a friend of the family has a stable and sold a horse on which ended up winning at Cheltenham about 20 years ago.

    our friends's name was announced after the race as the breeder but he doesn't have any more details re. name/trainer etc.

    is there some kind of Database where we could get this info? or another source..

    1- try racing post and if not going back far enough
    2-Wikipedia
    3-google for the results

    If he's the breeder he should know the name of the dam. If you get it, post it up and it should be easy to find the Cheltenham winner.

    Do you know the date and time of the race? Irishracing.com and racingpost.co.uk have the info if you do.
