€14k 3 Series or A4

    Hi,
    Looking for people's opinions on the above. I have just sold my mini, so looking for my next car, and I have narrowed it down to between a 3 series and an A4. This is based purely on looks and nothing else! The budget is my only limiting factor - I don't mind if its petrol/diesel (I do very low mileage) and size doesn't matter.

    Which would you recommend of these 2 cars?

    In reality, neither. But forced to choose, A4.

    But colour important and could sway me. A 3 series in a nice colour & spec would trump a dire coloured A4.

    Mind you there's a lovely red A4 1.8t for sale near me atmo which looks lovely. In silver/black/grey it would be pure meh.....
