possibly switch your wifi channel on your router?

maybe its interference slowing you down.

I have 150mb with UPC and have the same problem. I find it alot faster with the ps3 wired over wireless

100mb is about 12.5mb/s max, so 9 or 10 isn't that far off. There are alot of variables so your probably never going to get the max.

I am going to assume you are using ps+. The psn servers are very slow . Game Updates are quick enough but downloads from servers that are getting hammered by every other ps+ user on the globe are very slow . I had to leave my ps3 on overnight to download all the latest ps+ new games. 5 games with a total of 15gb but could have been slightly larger. I have 30mb UPC wired to ps3.

he means UPC measure their broadband in Megabits, whereas the PS3 measures in Megabytes.
