    Hi,

Don't know where to even start looking or what I need. 2 kids bikes and one adult, bmw 520 estate, no tow bar.

Can't see us using it daily or for long distance.

Any suggestions or advice on what I need much appreciated

I have the saris bones and I know a number of other people have it too are are really happy with it. Never any issues with it on the car.

Agree with Ryaner, Saris Bones is a great bike carrier.

    Thanks to you both.

It certainly looks the part. Quite a difference in price would the saris bones 3 suit my needs or should we try splurge for the bones rs?

I use a Hollywood Express-3. Excellent piece of kit, and fits my estate car (& my wife's Hatchback) perfectly. Brought two bikes to France and drove 100s of Kms with it and it's perfect. (Bikes are held high above the number plate and rear lights so no issue there).

Lacreme - I've been using the Saris bones 3 on a 520d estate for a few years including driving down to France. Easy & quick to fit & remove, very secure.

It will definitely take 2 adult bikes & one kids. I've never tried 3 adult bikes on it but wonder how it would cope as it seems a little tight. I'll be looking at the tow bar option as the kids get bigger.
