    Hi

We have some overseas friends going to Croke Park for the Sunday match but there are starting from a B&B in Athlone. What would you recommend them to do re parking up the car and getting public transport for the day.

Would Maynooth be a good base to park up?? Or further in??

Id there a dart that far out??

    What about the Luas?

Sorry for ignorance but I usually come from Red-Cow side and know nothing about the Galway side.

    Many thanks

There is a much bigger car park at Leixlip Louisa Bridge, which is just off the M4 motorway and is the next stop in from Maynooth on the same line.

Also on the same line is Drumcondra Station which is where people get off for Croke Park.

IE put on extra services serving all stations on the line on match days.
