    Hey,

So, I'm new to this forum and on the look out for a watch. This Casio is what I have at the moment.

Looking around, Tissot have some I like the look of, though gulping a little at the prices. :oExample 1, example 2.

Out of the ones posted on the forum, this, this, this, and this also interest me.

Presumably there are options outside of amazon (which isn't always direct - marketplace?), but from a quick look at the threads here you sometimes need to be cautious with ebay.

What sort of after care do you need to do once you buy?

    n00b :pac:

Those IWCs are nice, but a tad on the pricey side!

I've not had a problem with eBay yet - as a buyer you've normally a good level of protection. I'm new to the watch thing, so have yet to get any of mine serviced - so someone else will need to give you more details.

Try searching eBay for "parnis power reserve" - they have some models which are a nod to the second set of watches you posted. Here's an example:

Also, check out creationwatches.com (may get stung for customs, but everyone here says it's a good service). Some manufacturers sell direct - I'm a big fan of Steinhart watches.
