Parking Light Problem - Golf Mk 5

    Over the last two weeks or so I have been having some issues with the right side parking light on my 05' Golf. Basically the warning lamp has been coming on and off on the dashboard indicating that I have a light out of action on the car. Whenever the light is on I have been checking the car, and it seems to always be the right parking light that is the source of the problem. However sometimes if I just turn off the engine and start the car again the warning lamp is no longer lit and the parking light is working once again.

    I am guessing that it could be a lose connection or the likes, but I just wanted to check as to whether this is perhaps a known issue with the car?

    The front parking lights bulbs start intermittently cutting out when they are worn out. All VW suffer with it. Replace both sides, it's a small capless bulb not to hard changed

    Thanks, I hadn't realized that. Ill get some replacement bulbs. :)
