TRACTOR AND LOW LOADER

    Got a tractor 130hp and low loader and the low loader is a twin axle but is strong but not factory made or plated.
    (how many ton roughly can a standard twin axle low loader carry)
    I use it to carry a 13 ton jcb excavator but only have it occasionally on the road but would have to travel maybe 3 miles or so to other land.
    I see that in Northern Ireland they have really tightened things up regarding all trailers but whats the story here...

    there is something on the rsa website about a new law with any trailer over 3.5 ton is to have brakes will probably have to be tested in the future, not 100% sure on it though, its the only thing that this country haven't enforced yet,

    they would badly want to bring in a law that all trailers be tested, some scrap out there, especially the shams with the homemade car trailer and big diff axle underneath and no brakes or lights

    ok tractor weight is 5ton and low lowloader would be 2ton at least ton so not much left then
