GPT Partition

I tried to install windows 7 on a windows 8 pc. When I select the partion, i got the error message "Windows can not be installed on this disk. The selected disk is of the GPT partition style" Can anyone assist?

Finally got it.
I tried installing xp,vista,7 to no avail.

Grasping at straws I put ubunto iso on a disc and installed it over windows 8.Worked grand.
I then installed windows 7 without a bother.:)
