Cream gloss presses, cream subway tiles, walnut laminate tops and cream polished porcelain floor.
Want a light grey for walls and glass splashback behind hob.
any suggestions or is grey going to be rank?

Dulux Dove Grey would be nice, might be a bit dull though, is it a good bright room naturally?

    We have a large L-Shaped cream open plan kitchen with 600 x 600 x 25mm solid marble floors and 600 x 200 x 25mm brown marble borders.Wallnut worktops too.

Walls are painted green, red and a nice grey colour.

The grey is painted on the 2 walls where the kitchen cabinets are mounted.

All soft sheen and washable too.

Back of the house and open plan area is south facing.

Grey would be lovely, but you prob need to inject a strong accent colour to really lift the feel of the room. My fave grey at the moment is Ivory Tusk from the Colourtrend Historic range, shop should be able to mix it into their standard matt/ soft sheen if it works out too expensive. A matt paint might be a good contrast with the gloss of the cabinet doors but is not as easy to wash as a soft sheen.
You could consider bringing in your colour with the glass splashback or with your blinds/curtains in the room. It can also be done with your small w/top appliances or maybe a nice piece of art on the wall. The cream/walnut/ grey colour combo you would have really gives you loads of options of additional colour, red/lime green/purple/orange/ even pink :D.
