    I just noticed a new website went live a few days back called www.luascrosscity.ie

    It seems it is there to inform the public about progress of the new Luas line construction and also to inform about road closures.

    It kicks off on Tuesday with restrictions around Marlborough St and Eden Quay which will last for 6 weeks.

    Marlborough Street Diversion

    To facilitate works required for the Luas Cross City Cellars contract on Marlborough Street between Eden Quay and Abbey Street Lower, it will be necessary to change traffic movements in the area. For a period of 6 weeks from 6th August 2013, Marlborough Street will be made one-way southbound between the junctions of Abbey Street Lower and Eden Quay. To facilitate access to Abbey Street Lower, east of Marlborough Street, and local access the following diversions will be in place.Traffic accessing Abbey Street Lower and Northumberland Square from Eden Quay:

    Traffic should continue along Eden Quay to the next set of traffic lights
    Turn left onto Beresford Place
    Continue left onto Gardiner Street Lower
    Turn left at the next set of traffic lights onto Talbot Street
    Continue along Talbot Street
    Turn left onto Marlborough Street and continue to the next set of traffic lights
    Turn left onto Abbey Street Lower

    Traffic accessing Abbey Street Lower and Northumberland Square from Pearse
    Street / Tara Street:

    Traffic should continue along Tara Street and traverse Butt Bridge
    Stay left on Beresford Place
    Continue left onto Gardiner Street Lower
    Turn left at the next set of traffic lights onto Talbot Street
    Continue along Talbot Street
    Turn left onto Marlborough Street and continue to the next set of traffic lights
    Turn left onto Abbey Street Lower

    Local Access to Marlborough Street between Eden Quay and Abbey Street Lower:

    Traffic should continue along Eden Quay to the next set of traffic lights
    Turn left onto Beresford Place
    Turn left onto Abbey Street Old
    Continue along Abbey Street Old to the Marlborough Street / Harbour Court junction

    Diversion directional signage will be erected along the entire diversion route.
