I have just spent €25 on a king size mattress protector, which I think is a lot, although I have no idea what the going rate is.
I'd like to know if they are meant to fit tightly like a fitted sheet.
This one is the correct size, but the sides are very loose and I just know it is going to wrinkle up under the sheet when I am in bed and be thorougly uncomfortable!!
I'm wondering: do I tighten the elastic and hope for the best or return it to the shop and do without? As I have done until now:)

Moved to the Interior Design & Decoration forum (which apparently covers home furnishings)

Normally around €10 for a quilted one.

Yep around a tenner in Aldi/Lidl and Homestore & More.

Bought 2 superking ones in Homestore & More for a tenner a few months back.

Also got some nice microfibre superking fitted sheets in Lidl for 10 euro.

Lovely soft feel from them and you dont get too hot or cold in them either.

    Just nice.:)
