    Hi All,

Should I use two different application pads when applying the above 2 products?

Plan is this weekend to wash, de-tar, wash, SRP and then EGP (unfortunately don't really have the time to clay the car - surface didnt feel too rough after the last clean).

    Cheers :D

Ya I would use two different pads. Or else just clean the pad after using the polish. Clean it using water and washing up liquid and dry it out properly, should be fine then.

    Ideally yes, two different applicators.

A washed applicator, will then obviously be wet for applying the EGP....try let it dry out or at minimum ring out as much of the moisture as possible.

Thanks for the reply. I'm going to pick up a pair of applicator pads - It will save time when applying both products.

As I posted in the other AG thread thats running....just in case you missed it! ;)

When you have finished with both, give them a clean out, but try keep them associated with the product you used them for - so for example, put the polish in a bag with the applicator you used to polish ....the applicator will still have some product in it - so dont kill yourself trying to wash them out...then when you got to polish the next time, the applicator has the same product and is semi charged already - and you arent mixing products also!

How long should one work SRP until its broken down, by hand

My AG rep said to just wipe on but that's not how you use a polish

Why don't you take the advice of the AG rep.
Hand polish and machine polish are very different.

Polish need work, he said just wipe on and wipe off that like waxing

SRP is not correcting polish. Its to remove light oxidation and fill swirls. Doing any more work is pretty much a waste of time!

Yes, the more you work it, the more it will lift oxidation (within reason). If you were just to wipe on and not work it in, you are really just using the product as a very basic coat/layer of protection.
