    Hi,
Maybe some one might be able to help with the following

Myself and brother have two separate area aids with separate herd numbers

I wish to move some cows and their calves for temporary grazing to his land. The two options are

    1. Transferring the cattle from my herd to the other requiring testing of the females

    2. Do a short term rental agreement renting the land from my brother for 2-3 months, while still keeping the animals in my herd

Which is the better route to go?
If I go for option 2, can I avoid having to test the animals? The land that will be temporarily rented is separate from the rest of my brothers holding and so no mixing of the two herds will happen

    Thanks

Just send them over and no one would be the wiser!:pac:

What's the cost and time implications between option 1 and option 2?

    Contact DVO.

If your brother has no cattle on the land then it's not an issue. If they are going to mix with his then you'll have to have them tested.
