Has anyone any photographs of the bay window VWs that Aer Lingus used to have on staff transport in the '80s? In the lovely two tone green livery? Many thanks.

If it was in the 80's I'd say they were T3's!

Many thanks. My mistake, it's the later one I meant, the single windscreen ones, in the emerald green with blue stripe. Haven't seen any pictures of one anywhere, and they seemed to be a very common sight at one time.

Not sure the T25's  had a blue stripe , they were all green in my time

I'm only going by a vague memory. Here is the livery on a Jumbo jet. I remember VWs carrying a form of this livery, but I can't remember what they looked like, and I can't seem to find any photographs. I thought I'd try here and see if anyone had any. I'd love to see one.

They SHOULD have had some version of the airdraft scheme, but they were just green with the AerLingus logo of the time

This is the latest scheme - http://www.bfk.ie/storage/post-images/aer-lingus-example-images/AL_guide_vehicles_650.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1342447557213

Where would you get it ?, only on Boards.ie.

Sequential numbered VW Transporters , I'd say 513 was put into Ramp service after a time in Transport because it looks a bit hacked in the Ramp pic.

My Dad had a 78 Baywindow minibus, full 9 seater version that was ex AL. It was rotten rotten rotten and he sold it on ...I am certain after stripping the engine it atually went to the scrapyard...... in the early 90s much the pity beciase it would be a rare beast now

That's the very livery I was thinking of! The earlier VWs carried that too, I forgot that these models had it also. Many, many thanks for that photo, I am delighted to see it!

This photo of the 747, which I believe is EI-ASI, is a lease to Kenya Airways. The 'white patch' above the 'Aer Lingus' logo reflects this stating 'Kenya Airways'. The photo would have been taken in 1983.
