My massive thighs have started rubbing off the light clip on the saddle post due to all the recent training I've been putting in.

Apart from oiling them up, wearing shorter shorts and impressing the ladies what do I do about it?

Sand your thighs down a bit.

Temporary solution only as it only adds two or three mil so will encounter the seat post soon as well.

Buy a new bike and see if the problem persists.

get a file and file a groove in your thighs where the light clip is clipping.

    1. Use a good quality lube.

    2. Buy ultra-compression shorts. They'll also aid recovery and cause tissue necrosis on longer spins.

I've so many bikes that I am running out of room in the house and probably have to build a shed now.

The good news is that it will be a big shed so I will have room for even more bikes.

I have problems with jeans now, the ones that fit loosely on the thighs are too big on the waist.

Fixed my shed and put 4 bikes in there. Now the space upstairs is empty, which means I can get 4 more bikes.

Bought a new house recently and Swmbo will not countenance having bikes in the house. She has demanded that I build a shed for said bikes.

Shed will be insulated and have water & electricity.
Turbo trainer set up there as well as bike racks and workstand.

    Result.

If we put a bed, couch, telly, fridge and toilet in it too then we are totally sorted.

Wait 24 hours, then it's no longer a Friday problem ...

... that or become a triathlete, in which case it becomes a problem for a different forum

The obvious solution is to get 2 bikes (identical of course) and join them together side by side somehow with a bit of scaffolding (carbon fibre, naturally). Then you ride between the bikes, with your left foot on the right pedal of the left bike, and your right foot on the left pedal of the right bike.
As your thighs further develop, you can simply widen the spacing between the bikes to accommodate your new requirements.

    Q.E.D.

Can you not just get her one of these and leave the bikes etc inside?

I was reading that article yesterday and considering the pod for the garden.

    37sq.m for 99k delivered.
Hard to justify for a shed, but 37 sq.m is reasonably spacious.

    That's bigger than my apartment.

Which has 4 bikes as well as me and my O/H in it...

Once you have that all set up, you'll have no more need for the house.

Sell it and buy more bikes.
