That's not the mods fault though. That's the clearo's fault surely? The mvp just supplies the power.

Too high setting on the MVP ? Try reducing the voltage and see if it still does it...otherwise as Green Hornet said...it's the clearo !

    It's the voltage I think

I used two brand new cleros one was with the MVP and the other was a brand new out of the plastic Kanger T3 and it happened too

    Nearly got sick :/

Dial down that voltage so !

Start her at 3.7, all should really be fine there, and go up in steps until you encounter the problem. Then you'll know the limits of the coils you're using.

juice coming up throught the mouthpiece usually means the juice is in the centre bit - where you don't want it. with top fillers like the iclear 16 it happens sometimes if you overfill them at an angle and happens with evods sometimes if condensation builds up in the centre tube/mouthpiece. get thee some kitchen roll.

See I was vaping away grand with it on my ego batteries and then just switched it to the MVP and that started happening?

if you take apart a clearo and take off the head it's just a hollow tube in there going up to the mouthpiece - that's the only route yer gonna get liquid into your mouth. once that's clean and dry in there you'll be good to go, the battery wouldn't have anything to do with that.

    Ok maybe that was it

So question since I now have the variable voltage, can some cleros not handle 5volts? Should I keep an eye out for that? Or is the voltage basically just for producing more vapour?

Different devices and wick materials have different limits and that depends on the juice as well (darker burns faster).

The number you need to bear in mind is the power produced by the voltage of the battery and the resistance of the atty.

Multiply the voltage by itself (so 5v x 5v = 25) and divide that number by the resistance of your atty (let's pretend it's 2.5ohms).
    25 ÷ 2.5 = 10watts. That's the power your coil is pushing out, like a tasty lightbulb.
Clearos always tended start burning at 9w+ for me. The iClears have two coils (dual-coils!) which mean they should be able to go to double that at least but they apparently top out at 13-14w.
Not all batteries can reach whatever power you might want due to manufacturer-installed limitations to keep the battery safe - the MVP has a tested 2.5amp limit which means the hottest it can make anything is 12.5w (2ohm atty @ 5v). Most people wouldn't want that much for a single coil unless they were rebuilding with mesh, and it's a wimpy vape for a dual-coil.
So...that was long-winded...use a lower voltage for lower resistances and dial up until you hit the right taste for you.
