I was just wondering who can give a character reference? I need to bring two with me to a job interview. But who can write them....? Anyone or does it have to be somebody certain?

I think we need more info - what type of job is it? Do you not have any work experience?

In general anyone can give a character reference but if you were looking for job as programmer I would gave more weight to a reference from a previous employer/college lectured than I would to one from your mother/friend/school teacher.
