Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've been reading lots of threads regarding recruitment agencies, but no one mentioned any sites where you can apply directly to companies.

I've only found this so far - http://jobs.donedeal.ie/

How can I find which companies are hiring, as usualy they don't have hire details on their website.

    Thank you.

Nearly every major IT company I can think will advertise their jobs on their own website? If a company isn't advertising jobs on their own website then you can probably assume they aren't hiring? Although maybe they won't advertise because they are using a recruitment agent exclusively?

    +1

From looking myself about a month ago, the following are just some who list directly on their website:

    Citrix
    Microsoft
    Google
    Facebook
    PayPal
    eBay
    Twitter
    LinkedIn
    Dropbox
    HubSpot
    EMC2
    HP
    Intel

    And nearly everyone else!

I'm looking for a PHP developer position, and those companies do not have such available roles. There are many other small companies, that are hiring.

If you have enough experience your best option might be to get into contracting through a recruitment agent?

Also adverts.ie has job listings from companies as well: http://www.adverts.ie/jobs/it-programming/303315/q_php/employer_only/

I've been applying for the past month to all available recruitment agencies. I have 10+ years of experience.

Thank you for your adverts.ie link.

I find http://ie.indeed.com/ to be decent enough at scanning through sites for specific sites, it has picked up Google and Facebook positions for me before too so it doesn't just pull its data from other job advertising sites.

That sounds great! I'll look into it tomorrow after my first interview! :)
