Any one else tried one yet ?
I got one this morning to try out and the 1st thing i did was disassemble it and i couldn't get the housings to screw together [even without the atty in place]
It will screw about half of the way in nice and easy and then stop like its cross threading.

Was going to shoot an email off to the vendor asking if he could replace it

Try cleaning the threads. There's often machine oil clogging metal grit in them from the tapping process.

There could be burrs on the threads, so say 1000 sandpap...

Actually, maybe google cleaning threads as I don't want to give you advice that may break your device.

It's awfully annoying when threads are borked regardless of an items cost.

    Morning guys,

I have one of these an the battery won't unscrew from the top. Do you think it's just a case that I'm not strong enough to unscrew it??

    Thanks!!

They can get a bit stuck. If all else fails then dunk it in really hot (almost boiling) water. The expansion should loosen it enough to screw it off. Careful with your fingers though.
