Got this beauty in the post on Tuesday. I've been chasing one for the last 2 years, and finally found one at a price I could justify on chrono24 last week. It's a Cvstos Challenge Chronograph. There is a sapphire crystal dial which is practically invisible, and the movement has been plasma treated to blacken it, so it's super legible. There is a real 3D depth to the dial, which I love. I think it manages to be both hugely detailed and hugely legible, a feat achieved by very few watches in my opinion.

Like it. Niiiice. Very cool BMF. *bows*. Well may you wear.

    wow...

What drew you to it..and a 2 year wait....

PS....What are Chrono24 like to deal with

Hey Deep Thought. What drew me to it was the dial to be honest. I've always liked intricate or semi-skeletonized dials but most of them make the watches hard to read (Perrelet Rattrapante, Hublot King Power, most Richard Milles). With the blackened movement that Cvstos use, the hands and subdials stand out against the dial and make it easy to tell time at a glance.

The 2-year wait was down to the price. I've been checking eBay, Chrono24 etc about once a fortnight and most of the ones for sale are in the US. With asking prices around $8k and VAT on top, that was more than I was willing to pay. Luckily this one was in the EU.

As for Chrono24, they are not selling anything directly, they're just a site like eBay, adverts etc. where anyone can advertise their watch for sale. It's a great site for checking prices though.

I thinks he's bought a Richard Mille, or maybe a Pulsar.
