    Gear cable snapped on long cycle to north today just outside portlaoise.
    Was waiting at door for shop to open when this lovely man opened up shop and immediately went to work on bike.
    Internally routed and tricky enough.

    30 mins later I was back on road.

    A €5 is what he charged. I tried to pay more on a few occasions. Not a chance.

    What a gent. Had me smiling for day
