We've been camping in several countries in Europe but are thinking of going to a campsite in Sardinia this year and would like to hear from people who have experience of this type of holiday. Any recommendations would be great too. Ideally we would like to be on the beach with watersports, pool isn't important, animation…

We've been camping in several countries in Europe but are thinking of going to a campsite in Sardinia this year and would like to hear from people who have experience of this type of holiday. Any recommendations would be great too. Ideally we would like to be on the beach with watersports, pool isn't important, animation isn't required but it would be nice if the campsite was a short distance from a town/village. From the websites and brochures, the beaches look fantastic but there often isn't much detail on the accommodation and facilities.
