Euro to Sterling

    Why according to the RTE news is the exchange rate for euro to sterling:
    €1 to 0.875 pence and my bank €1 to 0.844 pence

    they add commission on top of this, just wondering why I can't go by the news exchange rate

    rte quote interbank rate. Your bank sells it to at retail rate.

    Because your bank is a robbing hoor in my opinion. Check with TransferMate (I have no connection with these).
