Hi guys was just looking for some information. About 3 to 4 months ago (while on JSB) I completed a form (not the up1 I think) to switch to JSA as I wasn't entitled to the full amount of JSB and handed it into my local office with all the necessary documents. Since then I've re submitted the documents and the forms as I found out the documents were not in date (although I was told at the time of handing them in the dates were fine :/ ). This was about 7 weeks ago. My JSB has now run out and was told that my application was submitted to the inspector on the 22nd of July. Is this a normal wait time? I understand that they do not award JSA until your JSB runs out but since I made the application to switch should I not have heard something about my application from them by now? Thanks in advance :)

I dont know how long it will take but while you are waiting you should apply to the community welfare officer to pay you until your claim gets awarded

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
