That's what they're called around here anyway. How will I get rid of them?

Yellow flag iris is their right name. "Flaggers" would be what they'd be known by here.

Weed wiper with strong glyphosate will kill them. Used to have a few patches on my farm, all gone now.

yes flaggers here too, does that work, heard they were untouchable, some one else mentioned running the box over them first to scar them otherwise spray just runs off them

I promise you glypho will kill them.

Don't spray them, wipe them. Even a paint roller with glypho will do if you don't have/want to buy a wiper.

I did hear talk of a specific spray for killing them at our last STAP meeting but I forget the name.

Numerous attempts at spraying them, never had any effect on them, dragged the box on them too! but like was already mentioned strong glyphosate with the licker will shift them, always heard them called flaggers, never heard of fulstroms

    D50 ?

I used MCPA and it totally destroyed them but found like rushes they seem to make a comeback say 3 years after killing them off

did field last Thursday with mcpa and they were very strong in it so I rolled them first as they say when flattened they take more spray into them .. will let ye know how they die off but ones I did 2 months ago are gone and I stood on those as I sprayed them as only few patches

I can't recall, even if I heard the right name I'd not be sure. I'll ask at the next meeting.
