have decided on getting a sprayer but cant decide between new jarmet or a fresh second hand hardi from the north,

has to have at least 600 l tank and 12m booms

both have priced out the same but the hardi has a higher spec ,,, hydraulic up and down and boom suspension etc triple nozzles etc

    has anybody any advice

have enough work to justify getting a sprayer even though its late in the year

    thanks in advance;)

Go with the Hardi especially if it has triple nozzles.

Be a lot easier to get parts for and at the price I'm assuming you are talking about you won't lose any money on it

Hardi's of all shapes and sizes, running perfectly with donkey's years on the clock.
Jarmet's will be replacing pallets in gaps, in a few years.

Last time I looked 2nd hand Hardis were still making very strong money, a 600L new Jarmet is about 1300euros, and any Hardi for that price needed alot of fixing up etc. I didn't bother getting one in the end, still letting the contractor do it, but might in the future, what placed up north did you spot the Hardi sprayers?

One feature to watch for is does it have suction filling.
I don't on our Hardi so am filling from a ibc by gravity which is fine for me but if your filling from streams etc you want to fit a suction kit. Or maybe your filling from a volume washer from the parlour

I have a jarmet here ,looked at a few secondhand sprayers first and thought it would be better to go with a new one.
Get a galvanized one and store out of sunlight to protect the tank and it should last a long time.
