iphone dropped in water

    Tried drying it out.. have no insurance.
    I hear theres a shop in town fixes water damaged phones.
    Its a iphone 4.. wonder how much it is to get it repaired

    Unfortunately if a phone is water damaged its impossible to repair. Your best off sticking it in a sealed, zip locked bag of dry rice and put it somewhere warm for 48 hours. If it doesn't start after that, save your money and just buy an iPhone 4 off Adverts. The cost of repair on a 4 is not economic for the price of the phone.

    You can pay for an out of warranty repair/replacement directly with apple. That's what I did - cost €120 (I think!)
