A friend of mine recently got a job with a mortgage arreas company claiming he was apa qualified whilst in fact he's never done them. He's now registered to do an exam in August. Is that possible to state your a apa qualified without a company finding out?

Seeing as he is apparently working in a role covered under the minimum competency rules, i would be surprised if the employer did not seek proof of his APA status.

There is a publicly available list of QFA's- but im not sure if there something similar for APA's.

He needs three exams to get apa doesnt he? If he or the company fills out a false fitness and probity declaration he will find himself or the company in some hot water.
