    Hi Guys,

Looks like I'm gonna buy a new MBA this weekend. I am looking at the base 11 inch model but I may spring for an upgrade. So my question is, which is more beneficial, upgrading the RAM to 8 GB or upgrading the CPU to the i7 model?

    Thanks in advance!

I bought the new mba last week also, upgraded the ram only, I intend just to run a few linux vm's for college work, so was enough for me,

depends on what your doing, if you'll be cracking the whip a lot, go for cpu upgrade also, but I find its fine as it is,

its been fairly tweaked even tho the clock speed isnt high, so runs well anyway, and with app nap in upcoming maverick release, cpu process's will be tweaked heavily again for performance, so i decided cpu wasnt worth the extra for me, in a little laptop
