How about a thread about cool/ unusual/ fun My Little Pony items you bought/ found? While this show isn't as merchandise heavy as others, there is definitely some neat stuff out there!

A couple of weeks ago, I bought a tin of MLP plasters/ band aids, and when opening them, discovered they come with some bling/ cutie mark stickers you can add to the band aid when you put it on for "prettification".

Today, in honor of this forum and my mod-ship (well, that's my excuse anyways...), I bought this:

Awesome, Where? And where for the plasters please?

Walmart for the plasters (with the kiddie band aids, ie Cars, Disney Princesses etc) and Hot Topic for the shirt. Hot Topic has a decent online selection, not sure if they do international shipping but if you have a friend or family in the US, maybe they'd ship it on for you.

Most of them do international shipping. But it's ludicrously expensive :(

A good third of the cost of my Rainbow Dash hat from We Love Fine was just shipping. Madness.

I am actually coming on for a little rant. My little five yr old girl wants equestria girls from santa (all 6 she says, but she might get 1) and they are just sh1t. there is a rainbow dash doll that wants her hair done? wtf? when did dhe ever want her hair done? princess cadence talking doll says 'oh my dress is so lovely, hehehe' FFS, so girly and giggly, grr.
I like the show as a parent as it appeals to the boys in the family as well, and lots of other reasons, but the merchandise is so stupid. pink and and girly and crap. the wedding playset does not even stay together long enough for the kids to play with it.
    grrr. rant over.
What are you getting for crimbo?

I always say it, but the show and the merchandise line should be taken as two separate entities. They have nothing in common, apart from the names.

I bought the Funko Vinyl figures for my niece because, even at 5 years old, she could see how crap the regular toys are! The blindbags are probably the only official merchandise that I have seen that is "kind of" show accurate.

But yeah, those Equestria Girls dolls look god-awful. It's like they came up with the design of them first, then tried to fit a movie around it. Which is probably what did happen...

Wouldn't that involve telling people you watch MLP? ;)

Did you notice what forum you are posting this in? :)
And I am off now to hopefully get my own belated Christmas present of MLP CCG cards- they were sold out the last two times I went!

Oh, I meant telling people in real life that I watch it, in order for them to buy me presents. :P

We now have four ponies (cadence, shining armour, twilight, applejack) an equestrian girl twilight and an awful wedding castles 'playset' that does not stay together. Not too impressed so far with merchandise but a mlp themed five yr olds party is quite easy to achieve.
