No direct route, so you either get a bus into town and then a bus to the airport, or you could walk to the bull Mc cabes and get the bus from there. If you have a smartphone download the journey planner app and it will give you all the options.

The area is only served by the #6 bus to town.

Of course you can take the #6, go to the bus station and take the bus to the airport; Or you could walk to the Bull McCabes as Calnand suggested and take the bus from there. It is not a problem at all if you do the journey every so often, it might become an annoyance when you have to do it every day twice, as it will add considerable time to what should be a very short commute.

Walking to the bus stop by the pub would be nice exercise, but think about having to do it yesterday morning or this morning...

In the end, I'm afraid you'll either have to get a car or consider to move somewhere else.
