Just wondering if anyone knows anything about these yokes. My Mother is determined to go up in years even though she has a 03 Yaris thats never given any bother.

Its owned by an old woman who had it since new in 2006 and only put 10000 miles on it.

Their asking for €4,500 - €5,000 for it. Its an auto as is the current Yaris.

I told her to keep driving the Yaris as it's never been a bother other than her reversing into a couple of trolleys!

The yaris is more advanced and modern and generally nicer. You'd only be coming up the years.

That makes sense looking at the values of the Yaris and Ignis. The 03 Yaris seems about the same value. Hopefully convice her not to bother.

Tell her they fall over if you take a bend too fast or something.

Haha. She offered them 2.5k anyway. Doubt the thing has been serviced since new. Probably not even due its first service based on mileage! Told her to get the local mechanic to have a look at least.

Her response there now was "Ah sure it'd be nice though having a newer car. I don't care about spec or anything like that"

If its the 1.3 with the torque converter autobox tell her to keep it. She won't get anything as good in a small car for a long time.

Don't do it! Keep the yaris. While the Suzuki is reliable they have no where near the same level of build quality as those yaris.

Those Suzuki's have some of the most flimsiest interiors of any car.

I was cleaning my father in laws swift a while back and was amazed how easy it was to push in all the plastic trim. It was like paper...
