Glycine Ladies Watch

Could somebody help me out here. I bought a ladies gold glycine watch ( I think it says "spectrum" under Glycine on the face) in the late 80s. The surround of the face has two small 'diamonds' in each corner. At the time I was told it was a good watch and from memory I think I paid about £200 at the time. I have tried to find info on the Internet and the only info I can get is on men's Glycine watches. I wish I could put up a picture but I am afraid that is beyond my capabilities. What I really want to know is should I take a bit better care of the watch as opposed to wearing it every day as I do now and is it a 'good watch'.

Glycine is a good and established brand with a long history of making watches. I would say if it has Glycine written on it it can easily survive day to day wear for decades despite the model of the watch. On the other hand if it is a delicate watch you might not want to wear it while doing heavy duty work. Other than that like wearing home or in the office it should be fine. Also regular maintenance also pro longs the life of the watch.

You might find some information in this thread:
