    More to the point, who do RTE have as quality presenters who will replace the current crop when they go. The lower ranks aren't looking so good.

    I think we know the answer to that, be it by accident or design RTE has been a disaster for managing the change over between generations. What's most likely I think is that when say Pat Kenny retires/drops the programme will be dropped or reshaped to the point of being "all new". It'll be one hour long as well I bet.

    RTE seem to have given up on anyone born since 1970, when their current listeners/viewers die off over the next few decades the place will die.
