whey is protein, it is used to supplement your protein intake, Do you know how much protein you get from your diet?

    1. Probably. If you plan to eat the same amount of calories and protein every day, then yes.
    2. Depends on how much protein you want to eat and how easy it is to reach that amount.

Your weight in kg x 2 = the amount of protein in grammes you roughly want to take in. If you hit that with food, grand if not add the whey.

    Bowl of cornflakes
    Apple,bananna, mandarin
    Strawberry yoguart
    Salad( mixed peppers,carrots, lettuce,scallions,ham)
    Boiled chicken breast and beans

Either, or. Like I said if you're getting enough protein form other sources, which you're not, then you don't need whey. With your diet I'd eat more protein in general but drinking a shake in the morning and after training isn't a bad idea.

I'd continue drinking one after training and get more protein from things like eggs, dairy and meat more regularly.

What are your goals by the way.
