Hi,

I just bought Civ 3 to play on my laptop (Windows 7). I have been reading online on how to change the resolution.. by going to conquests.ini file and adding "KeepRes=1" on a new line and that should allow the game to run in my laptops standard resolution (1600x900). However once I open the .ini file and I add the new line (KeepRes=1) it wont allow me to save it It says, "access denied".

All and any help will be appreciated, thank you.

Are you using an administrator account? Also, make sure the game isn't running (or the setup) when trying to edit the INI.
