The car been feeling a bit flat lately, almost sluggish. Its not a huge difference at all really.

Will it run/perform a tad better with a change of plugs?

It may well do if they where due for changing but most only notice car running smoother and more fuel efficient.
Changing the oil, oil filter and air filter can make a noticeable difference too.

Well car is actually in for a service tomorrow and I'm getting all the above done.

I'll ask the lads to check the plugs too.

Expensive job if they do need replacing ? It's an Audi.

Depends on what plugs you get, labour shouldn't be much at all if they're in there anyway for filters and oil.
Tell them it's been sluggish lately and they can have a look at while they're at it.

Don't know the price of plugs for audi.

I paid around 40 euro for 4 plugs for a renault in halfords not a great comparison

I do know some are expensive and double that price.

Have a chat with them on what they are changing and cost... this mini or full service wording many garages like to use is misleading.

Mini usually just means oil and oil filter.
Full service is mini service plus if needed air filter, fuel filter, sparkplugs and check other fluids. But you need to ask as it varies from garage to garage.

Also if they spot anything amiss they normally call to say it needs extra parts and labour. Example is brake pads,

Sparkplugs are a fairly standardized component with NGK, Denso and Bosch being the most widespread brands around the EU - they are all good quality.
There are different types of plugs (some promise better fuel economy and the likes), but assuming the garage is gonna put in a standard replacement, I would guess it shouldn't be more than 50 euro for a 4 cylinders engine.

If you have a V10, however, the situation will be different :) What Audi is it?
