I have it since last year, but 2 things annoying me...firstly I notice the last few days that it is lagging slightly. Used be super fast, but now when I press "send" on a message for eg, it might take a second or 2 for the action to happen.
Second thing is that my wife has a samsung galaxy 2 and a friend has the 3....their texts to me always come through on viber??? Why is this...can be annoying if I'm in the countryside and no internet.

1 - Have you tried restarting the phone?

2 - Because they are sending them to you via Viber. Tell them to stop and to use regular SMS.

    1. By restarting the phone, do you simply mean turning it off and turning it on again?
    2. Ammm, they are not sending them from viber. They are sending them to me as SMS but come through to my phone as a viber message. I assume it's a Samsung thing.

1 - Yes. If that doesn't work you can also try reseting it by holding the home and sleep buttons simultaneously until the phone restarts.

2 - It's a problem on their end. I presume they have Viber set as the default messaging app or something. I dunno what else to suggest except deleting Viber. That will force their messages to send as SMS.
