Income Levy and P21

Last week I set up my PAYE anytime account and I have to say to everyone that can, set this up now as it really helps for claiming tax back.

Anyway, I requested P21 statements for the last few years and for 2010 it stated I over-payed tax to the sum of 195e and a cheque for that amount would be issued, happy days. Today I received a cheque from the revenue for 14.84 with a letter that simply says income levy, the year 2010 and the amount.

Is this income levy refund separate from the refund on the P21. I'm confused about this 14.84 figure as I can't see it in any other correspondence with the revenue.

    Thanks for any help offered

From memory, the P21 did not give income levy details (it is a few years ago now so not too sure). It only gave PAYE details so income levy was repaid separately.

I don' think they gave calculations for income levy refunds when they were paid. I requested mine specifically a few years back as I knew i had overpaid it but didn't get a calc with the refund.

Grand, must be a separate thing I triggered when I set up the account.
    Cheers

Give them a ring, OP, if you're still wondering. Generally those on the phone lines can answer a query like yours no problem.
