    Hi all.
Just looking for some insight from people.
Last week I went about social benefit for the first time (gurrr ireland :( )
Think its job seekers allowance I will qualify for.
I was told i will be waiting min of 8 weeks :(
I cannot wait this long due to financial situation, the welfare officer said I could meet with another officers (she gave her a title but i cant remember) and she may be able to arrange an advance of my dole payment.

I need to go meet this person this week.

Does anyone have any experience of this or know what i should expect

You'll need to bring stuff to her for her to do a means test such as bank accounts, id, proof of address etc. I'd be prepared to have it all ready, it will save more trips to her.

I have already submitted bank info etc the first day i went to my welfare office. Would the community welfare officer have these on my file or is it safe to bring them again

    Bring everything, that's EVERYTHING again!

Even when you do bring everything, prepare to be asked for something else!

    Good luck.

Yes bring everything again, they lift every stone and will ask every question!!! They will look for partners payslips, p45, statements, mortgage statement or tenency agreement. You will have to list all of your outgoings as that is on the form that she will fill out
