Hi Everyone,

Two of us are going to the Costa Del Sol at the end of October for a long weekend & just wondering if anyone knows the following please?????

Sunshine - How hot will it be? Will we be spending our days on the beach & in the water?

Busy - Is Benalmadena & Torremolinos busy at the end of October?

Nightlife - Are the pubs & clubs open? Which is better? Square, Marina or Torremolinos??

Any tips????

probably late teens at best temp wise but could be a good bit lower. not sure about the nightlife.

Normally go to Benalmadena in December or January. Not big into night life but there is always a great buzz around the marina even at that time of year. Unfortunately know nothing about nightclubs a bit past that:rolleyes: I am heading to my little nest when the party people are heading out. Hope you have a great break.

Thanks for your replies. Hopefully we will get nice sunshine (20>) I read on TripAdvisor that the Marina is good for night life.

I have been in the area a few times in October and the weather is usually better than our summer's, mostly in the 23-28℃ range although an odd shower is possible.

Benalmadena and torremolinos are still a little busy but nothing mad like mid July.

Nightlife is pretty good there too.

As for tips, in this area you are close enough to marbella, Porto banus etc so a visit is well worth it. We usually head to Gibraltar for a day too but with the Spanish causing a stir at the border recently it might not be the best idea.

Very helpful info Darragh, thanks. Good to see we'll get nice weather fingers crossed.

We're thinking of heading over to Marbella for a day / maybe night via the bus. Mix up the nightlife with that of Torr, Bena & the Marina.
