    Hey all

I'm looking to pick up a man's wallet for a pressie. I've been trawling the shops but everything I've seen is a bit bland and samey. I was hoping for something that is nice and classy enough (that you wouldn't be embarrassed taking out around your workmates), but with some bit of character. Maybe something with a cool inside lining or something?

I also want it to be practical - there's no point in getting something that you can only fit two or three cards in!

I have a budget of about €70 max and was hoping to pick something up in store (in Dublin city centre) as I want to post it as soon as I can.

    Cheers!!

Have you tried Ted Baker? I got my brother a black wallet with teal on the inside there. It also had a removable card holder which was cool! Think it was €70 on the button.

Stewart Stand. Woven stainless steel. Really cool looking. Should be within budget. Don't know where you can get them other than online.

I would go for ted baker too. They have coloured and patterned lining but are just plain leather on the outside. I got my OH a nice wallet there a few years back and it's still in good nick.

secrid wallets - awesome looking yokes, look great, neat gadget quality to them. Only fit 6 or 7 cards total though.

Ted Baker all the way. My wife bought me one of these for my birthday, a really simple one with no coin section crappiness.

They're the business, ya can't go wrong. Decent selection too.

    Hey guys

Thanks for all the suggestions! I ended up going for a Ted Baker one in the end on foot of your advice. I had got one in Louis Copeland but wasn't happy with it, so headed into Dundrum and hit House of Fraiser and voila! Dundrum S.C. seems to be the place to go for men's wallet shopping - I couldn't find a huge amount of nice places in Dublin city centre. I know now more than I even thought I would about men's wallets.

    Thanks again!! :)

Don't forget to put a fiver in in it before you give it to the recipient.

You can pick up the Ted Baker wallets in TK Maxx from time to time for about 20 or 25 euro.
