ok so i went to a private college then a plc and i applied direct to LIT and got into second year and i have to register by the 16th but the last part of the resistration it asks about college grant approval so im still waiting for that to come through before i commit to registration.

My question is if i select the option i haven't been approved yet on the registration , will i have to pay right away myself or can i ask them to wait, i'v emailed susi and they just told me "it may take weeks" no help at all. This will be my first time using the grant also but i have been approved before but i didnt use it.

And if i do pay will i get the money back from Susi after iv been approved?

If anyone had similar experiences please help :)

You can usually ask colleges to wait

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

this is a question for the college you applied to as it can vary.

Some colleges only require confirmation that you have applied for a grant while some require confirmation that you have been approved.

I had a look at the LIT website and it is unclear so I think you would need to contact them
