There are no trains to Staffan/Barberstown Castle. Bus Eireann services do serve Straffan/Barberstown Castle however.

Maynooth or Sallins are the nearest trains

There was a Station near Straffan. Look on irish railway sites and there are photos etc.

The great rail accident of 1853?
The station was closed in 1947.

Hazelhatch is probably closest with the bus connection to Celbridge

Maynooth is probably easiest, although you're cabbing it from there. It's not a bad cycle either, there in 15 mins.
