    Hi,

I have some drawings from an architect for a semi-d house extension and would like to get it costed before I go out to tender to builder. Is it a quantity surveyor I need to go to to do this?

    Thanks

    D.L

Yes a quantity surveyor will measure and cost the drawings to give you an indication of where the tenders should be. The accuracy of their work will depend on the detail and level of specification that is contained on the drawings in relation to finishes etc.
