Does anyone run one of these or similar?

Looking to change up the spinner and a local dealer has one of these at reasonable money. Just wondering if anyone has a review/report that might point me in the right direction?

If u have hilly land stay away as it has twin compartment n on hill one always empties faster than the other. Hard to set correctly and knuckle problems with earlier ones on the back of them.

Have one for the last 10 year. Very good spinner ye would spread alot of manure in a day with it. We sow all the grass seed with it. If you can get the book that comes with you would be sorted, gives all the settings for spreading manure and sowing grass seeds or turnips or kale. Is the paint work good? Mine is startin rust on the opening at the bottom of the hopper. Keep them sprayed with oil and there perfect

Thanks for the replies. Have all the double disc spinners not got twin compartments? What are the knuckles View? Are they down near the discs?

I won't get a chance to see it till the weekend, I'm told it is 5 years old with no rust. 2K straight, compares favourably enough with a few others I've seen, sulky, vicon etc.

I might try get the number of the previous owner and see what the craic is.

Jersey on the topic of spreading grass seed what settings do u use?
I have mine a year and finding it difficult to get used to. Had a wagtail previously. Having said that seem to be getting better results with it lately. Wouldn't say it's a bad spinner just takes getting used to.

The knuckles are on the bars at the back where u adjust the settings, they seize up preventing one or two sides from opening when u activate the hydraulics.

we set the levers on the dial to 6 or 7 and spread the same speed as we would fert. When were spreading it we go about 2-3 ft of the last line we drove on. Go up and down the field and back and forwards, takes a bit longer but we get good coverage

2011 no dial . Two movable markers on back for each hopper, they r a ****e in my estimation
