Does this service exist outside weddings? Could myself and my partner put money into a fund like this each week/month with Trailfinders and then when we've reached a desired amount, choose a trip? Like a holiday savings account with discounts/special offers.

A bank savings account is the answer I suppose but if they offer a similar service but with discounts etc I'd opt in for something like that.

Just open a new bank account. You can go when you see bargains etc and you're not being over charged by Trailfinders

You could always buy vouchers with your savings and then use those to book?

Haven't heard of such a scheme myself OP.

In effect though, you'd certainly be reducing your options and possibly missing out on preferable deals available elsewhere.

Unless the discounts or other incentives offered were out of this world, I can't see any real advantage to such an approach.

Open a savings account & when you've reached your desired amount, shop around.
