Maynooth to Greystones Cycling via Blessington

    I'm am looking to cycle a route from Maynooth to Greystones via Blessington. Best options re hills (dont mind them) I dont like to much traffic so the quieter the better.

    I'd go Maynooth - Straffan - Kill - Blessington - Kilbride - Sally Gap - Roundwood - Kilmacanogue - Greystones.

    The only bit of that route I haven't personally done is Maynooth to Straffan. The rest of the roads are reasonably quiet. You'll get some good hills (and great views) going over the Sally Gap.

    Thanks for the reply, 1 more question, do you know of any good websites/apps for plotting routes which include the size or catoegory of climbs?

    Maynooth - Straffan is a busy road, but it widens out after a bit so its ok.

    Maynooth - Straffan - Kill - Blessington - Kilbride - Sally Gap - Roundwood - Newtown - Newcastle Kilcoole - Greystones.

    Coast Road Newcastle - Greystones much quieter.
